Pillar of Autumn explodes on stage with the fury and attitude rock music was intended for. As individuals, they grew up from the Detroit area's music scene, gaining influence and acumen. Together, they've honed their skills to create entertaining and energetic performances, truly personifying the essence of a rock band. In the summer of 2009, Pillar of Autumn released their debut EP titled “Burn This City”. This new release from Pillar of Autumn, recorded at Pearl Sound Studios with Producer Chuck Alkazian, is sure to grab the attention of rock music lovers and never let go. The CD is packed full of energy with anthematic singles like “Burn This City” and “Carpe Diem”. The songs contain the youthful aggression of bands like Rise Against and Atreyu while revisiting the energy-filled metal of Metallica and the pure, unapologetic rock of Motorhead.
