Glamour Salon's owner, Victoria Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the field of cosmetology. She received her basic training from Virginia Farrell and then in New York, she expanded her knowledge and skills working at Black Hair Is, Glemby International and attended Dudley Hair Care University, just to mention a few.
The concept and planning process for Glamour Salon began in 1993. After 25 years of booth rentals, Victoria was encouraged by her pastors Bishop Andrew & Viveca Merritt, to walk by faith and trust God to help her own a beauty salon.
After two years of searching for the right location, a building was found in 1995. Finally after many challenges and prayers Glamour Salon officially opened October 4, 1996 at 24133 Southfield Road, as a full service salon. The salon provides clients with a full range of professional services. Future plans include national & global expansion, including franchise opportunities.
