The Detroit Repertory Theatre is Michigan's longest running non-profit professional theatre with a mission to produce the best theatre possible while utilizing indigenous professional artists, provide training for a professional life in theatre; play a part in neighborhood revitalization; provide cultural enrichment opportunities for the uninitiated and the physically, mentally, economically and socially challenged; and demonstrate the power of diversity acting in unity.
I absolutely LOVE the rep!! The wonderful plays, the coziness of the theatre, the parking, the bar :) and most of all the audiences, mature folks who are just out to enjoy an afternoon or evening with friends....I pray it stays in business for a very very long time!!
