Growing from a natural impulse to help everyone she meets to be confident and comfortable in his or her own skin and more effective personally and professionally, Angela River became a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) through Image Resource Center of New York. She uses her experience, inspiration, and sensitivity to educate businesses and individuals in: business etiquette and communication skills; team building and customer service; wardrobe planning, color and makeup application; personal style communication, image psychology and non-verbal communication.

Angela studied under the most recognized names in the field of image consulting – Dominique Isbecque and Carol Davidson. She has learned from some of the most prestigious names in cosmetology in the United States and Europe – Krista Embry, Sharon Gault, Vidal Sassoon, Tony & Guy, Trevor Sorbie, Wella, Graham Webb, and Sebastian. Believing that there’s always something new to discover, Angela continually updates her extensive knowledge of styles and trends with courses, seminars, and trade shows. She has also been honored to receive Tiffany 2003 Creative Hair Awards.

Having the wonderful opportunity of working on syndicated shows, commercials, and cable spots and with national music artists. Honored with working with Robert Labetta from Sebastian on a collaborative photo shoot. Mc for several fashion shows. Her scope of experience has transformed ordinary into extraordinary.

Angela is very active in her community and uses her expertise for charity functions such as: Dreams 2003 benefiting St. Vincent, Sarah Fisher Center, and Variety by coordinating music, costumes, hair and makeup for London Hair Company’s participation and Meals on Wheels Benefit Fashion Show as Artistic Designer. The community support extends to serving on the process committee for Auburn Hills, supporting the Haven house, Boys and Girls club and the Avondale Schools with service donations and involvement. And raising monies for the Beaumont Breast care center. Sitting on the advisory board for the Oakland County Cosmetology Board. Now partnering with neighboring business to develop a strong tie of unity for the Down Town Auburn Hills.

She gladly shares her knowledge by seizing opportunities to train and encourage others in wardrobe, hair, and makeup as an instructor and on several cable shows giving advice and tips. She is the owner of DARe Salon and Image Studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Founder of Dare2impress and a National Cosmetology Association Member.
