Sparking creativity since 1909, the Ann Arbor Art Center is located in the vibrant retail and restaurant area of downtown Ann Arbor. Four galleries feature work of Michigan and regional artists and that of students in Art Center programs. The galleries are relaxed and inviting and include educational materials for adults and the "I Spy" activities for children.
The Art Center is one of Michigan's oldest and most respected arts organizations, and is committed to engaging the community in education, exhibition, and exploration of the visual arts. Not to mention just plain fun!
In the studio art education program, the organization continually strives to create an inviting, nurturing and exciting environment that welcomes young and older, regardless of skill level and background.
