Since 1978, the American Dance Academy has proudly offered exceptional dance training to children throughout the tri-county area. We offer two locations: Commerce Township and South Lyon. A complete curriculum of courses ranging from tiny tots though pre-professional dance and adult classes is available. Our Academy focuses on the traditional performing arts with specialized faculty to offer individualized attention and dedication to the ideal of quality in arts education.
I have known Miss Melva and her staff for over twenty years -- as a dance student and as a photographer who literally learned to work with dancers from owner, Melva Zavisa.
ADA provides exceptional dance training. The staff and crew genuinely love what they do and are professional and enjoyable to work with.
ADA has produced many fine performers who have gone on to win major dance titles and/or became professional dancers, choreographers, and teachers.
I highly recommend American Dance Academy and feel it is one of the finest dance schools in the country.
